From Monteverde to Sarama area we are able to offer you two types of services: Collective Shuttle and Private Shuttle, please review the following information:
Collective Shuttle:
The collective shuttle departs one time a day one at 8:00am. Pick up available from the main hotels in Monteverde. Arrival would be around 12:00pm.
The collective shuttle is rated in $45 per person.
Private Shuttle:
This is a private door to door service with your own driver and own vehicle. Pick up would be directly at your location in Monteverde and at the time of your election and drop off would be your destination, Hotel/Vacation Rental in the area.
The total rate for this service is $155
(per way, from 1 to 5 passengers $25 the extra guest after 5)
Includes: Your own private driver, own private minibus or large SUV

Jeep Boat Jeep Monteverde to Arenal La Fortuna
The Jeep-Boat-Jeep Service between Monteverde and Arenal/La Fortuna, also known as Taxi-Boat-Taxi is the most fun and the quickest way to travel between Arenal/La Fortuna and Monteverde. Leaving at 8:00AM from Monteverde and 8:30AM from Arenal you enjoy a half hour boat ride across Lake Arenal with the volcano looming in front or behind you. Starting in Arenal your mini-van will stop at your hotel and have a quick ride to the shore of the lake. On the other side another mini-van awaits for a climb up to Monteverde through nice countryside much of it planted in coffee or with pasture for Milk Cows. From Monteverde to Arenal it is the same service only in reverse. The trip takes 2.5 hours versus 8 by public bus or 4 in a vehicle. (There are also scheduled afternoon trips at 2:00PM or 2:30PM)

8:30am, 2:30pm from La Fortuna (actual departure time varies depending on hotel pick-up location).
Departure from Monteverde to Arenal La Fortuna
8:00am, 2:00 pm from Monteverde (actual departure time varies depending on hotel pick-up location).
Duration: Approx. 3 hours total.
Includes: Ground transport to Lake Arenal; 30-minute boat ride to the town of Río Chiquito; 1.5-2 hour ground transport from Lake Arenal to your Monteverde hotel.
Price per person: US$45.00 (morning or afternoon)
